P-S GAR celebrates first base renaming
Senior leaders from Space Operations Command and Space Delta 6 - Cyberspace Operations, cut the ribbon at the base renaming ceremony, June 16, 2021, at Ka’ena Point Space Force Station, Hawaii. Ka’ena Point Space Force Station became the new name for the home of Detachment 3, 21st Space Operations Squadron, which has been operational for more than 60 years. Part of DEL 6, Det. 3 is part of a crucial network of sites operating 24 hours per day, supporting more than 185 satellites performing mission operations around the world.
