HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Colonel Dean Wolford, 15th Airlift Wing vice commander, presents Great Grand Master Jhoon Rhee a Hawaiian warrior hand-combat weapon made of koa wood During the Asian-Pacific Islander American Heritage Month luncheon here May 6. The weapon is lined with shark teeth and was a “thank you” token for Master Rhee’s performance at the heritage month event.
