ROMADs train with Army to become JTACs
WHEELER ARMY AIR FIELD, Hawaii -- Airman 1st Class Doug Fraites, 25th Air Support Operations Squadron ground radio maintenance, secures a perimeter for a landing zone at Wheeler Army Air Field's East Range near Hickam AFB June 24. Training included combat lifesaver skills, convoys, air assault egression, and improvised explosive device reaction and will give Tactical Air Control Party members a better idea of what to expect when they deploy to Afghanistan with an Army unit.
