Tech Sgt Cohen Young

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Tech. Sgt. Cohen, an Air Force photojournalist, takes pictures on a dismounted patrol in 2008 during his six-month deployment to Iraq. During the deployment, Sergeant Young was ranked No. 1 of 40 combat cameramen, capturing historical moments in the country's storied history. He also logged more than 400 hours "outside the wire" on combat and humanitarian missions. For his actions, he earned a Bronze Star Medal in a ceremony at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, June 29.
