HICKAM WARRIOR: Senior Airman Burhannudin

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii – Senior Airman Doddy Burhannudin, 15th Services Squadron, is this week’s Hickam Warrior. “Airman Burhannudin hit the ground running from day one of being assigned to Hickam Air Force Base.” said Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Telega, 15th SVS commander. “He has proven to be a valuable asset to our unit and consistently leads by example,” he said. Airman Burhannudin volunteered countless off duty hours to assist 15th Services readiness section in preparing their recent deployment team and is always willing to step up and be the face of Services. He also led logistics detail for Lt Dan Band event enjoyed by entire Hickam Air Force Base personnel and volunteered countless hours to prepare personel readiness folders for upcoming deployments by organizing and updating 56 folders. Airman Burhannudin also prepares flight meals for missions and personal working on the flight line. “During my off duty time I focus on my school work and do some volunteering, other than that I go out every once in awhile and relax.” said Airman Burhannudin. “What I enjoy about being in the Air Force is the fact that I get to go to different places, meet people, and experience different cultures. By being services I have many options and opportunities to go to places where some AFSC's are limited on where you can be station at.” (U.S. Air Force illustration/Senior Airman Gustavo Gonzalez)
