Sports day spectacular

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii -- 2nd Lt. Kempker, 15th Comptroller Squadron, emerges from the swimming portion of the fitness challenge of Hickam's annual Sports Day at Hickam Harbor April 16. The 535th Airlift Squadron won the event with a time of 6:15. The 324th IS turned in the second best time at 6:21 and the 15th Operations Support Squadron turned in a sub-seven minute time to take third. The events throughout the day included an innertube relay race, fitness challenge, volleyball, kayak races, horseshoe toss and the tug-o-war. The comptroller team finished the challenge in 8:54.
