Casting in the surf
NORTH SHORE,Hawaii -- A favorite activity by Hawaiians is to wait in the surf for a school of mullet to swim by and cast a net over them for dinner. Some of the beaches have lots of volcanic rock scattered along the beach. After the net is thrown, the fisherman will done a snorkeling mask and gather the off the rocks to avoid tearing it.
