Maintenance Airmen in the spotlight
120606-F-MC921-002: Senior Airman Genevieve Ramsey, an aerospace propulsion journeyman, and Staff Sgt. Joseph Leugers, a hydraulic systems craftsman, both from the 15th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, perform maintenance on an engine of a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from the 535th Airlift Squadron deployed to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, as part of RED FLAG-Alaska June 8. RED FLAG-Alaska is one of the largest international air-combat employment exercises in the world and is designed to test the specific capabilities of the military units that take part in the exercise and increase their chance of survival during actual combat.
