199th, 19th Fighter Squadrons team up to retake ACA mission

An F-22 Raptor piloted by Lt. Col. Mark Ladtkow, 199th Fighter Squadron commander, is taxied in to the "Alert Pad Dec. 6 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The active duty 19th Fighter Squadron, in partnership with the Hawaii Air National Guard's 199th FS, took over the Aerospace Control Alert mission from the Montana Air National Guard, who have operated the mission for the past two years during a transition from the F-15 Eagle to the F-22.
