Japan conducts first bilateral exercise with Royal Air Force
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --
The Royal Air Force (RAF) and Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) kicked-off exercise Guardian North 16 at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Oct. 22, 2016. This is the first bilateral exercise JASDF has conducted with another foreign military, excluding the U.S. The RAF Typhoons are assigned to RAF Lossiemouth, located in Moray, Scotland.
