The remains of a Korean War unknown are brought aboard an awaiting Republic of Korea transport aircraft by a representative from the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of National Defense for Killed in Action Recovery and Identification during a Repatriation Ceremony hosted by the U.S. Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command May 22 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. A total of 12 sets of remains of Korean War unknowns, which were determined to not be U.S. service members by JPAC's Central Identification Laboratory, were transferred custody for further analysis.
