Welcome to the Aloha Conference Center
Strategically located on Scott Circle building 1106 the Aloha Conference Center is in the heart of Hickam Air Force Base, just steps from the PACAF Headquarters building.
Originally Built in 1949 to serve as the base theater, it had seen very little use since the termination of its theater operations in 1982. In 2001 General Bill Begert, PACAF Commander, approved a plan to renovate the interior of the building. The State Historic Preservation Office was consulted to ensure the historic decorum of the building and its surroundings were preserved.
The unique combination of innovative design, solid construction and outstanding architectural features produced the crown jewel of Conference Centers in the Air Force.
On 5 May 2003, General Begert and Colonel Ray Torres - the 15th Airlift Wing Commander - untied a lei from the front doors, signifying the Conference Center's Grand Opening.
Named for "Aloha" (Hawaii's way to express a friendly welcome to friends, relatives and visitors to the islands), the Aloha Conference Center 's design incorporates visions of sunshine, sand and deep blue ocean, flowers and lush landscapes, and exotic hula dancers throughout the facility.
